What size vacuum/boost lines for Hobbs switch and Bypass valve.

So I'm trying to run the correct plumbing to both my Hobbs switch for my secondary fuel pump as well as the line going to the bypass valve and was wondering what size line should be run to both of them.
Is 4mm too small? Since it's not really flowing air volume, it's essentially a signal line, wouldn't the smaller size of the 4mm be better suited?
I have a vacuum manifold distribution block that I'm going to run two seperate lines to each device and was wondering the proper size line to run.
Thanks.

I used 3mm for the hobbs. Extra thick. All that matters is the wall is thick enough it wont collapse or expand, and it doesnt kink. I used 4.5mm for the race bypass since the piston that opens/closes the valve is pretty big, it needs some flow. Both are extra thick walled tubing though.
