Been a while since updated this thread. Car is finally close to being somewhat wrapped up, Im hoping to get it fired up this week if all goes well.

I still need to figure out how I want to handle the steam vents. Ill probably fire it up initially with them just blocked off, then switch to the -4AN kit i saw posted up for sale here before i drive it. Im also debating on whether or not to use C02 to control my MSD Boost Controller. Any input?

I have a friend who purchased a test track when an auto supplier up here in MI went bankrupt and hes gonna let me bring my car out and break it in on the oval so i dont have to worry about cars and traffic, I can just run a couple hundred miles of varying speeds and throttle loads in a safe environment, pretty sweet

Anyhow here is the final pics of the turbo kit, downpipe, and the miles of fuel lines and fittings I had to put together, my fingers are still sore

Oh and I am not running the stock Mustang gauges. switched to a 98 cluster and will be running a ford oil pressure sending unit in the LS block as well as a second coolant temp sensor in the passenger side head. took all of the connectors off the factory harness and am running new wires and repinning the whole thing to fit like the factory mustang harness. Still debating using the factory mustang bulkhead to run the wires through as it would be nice to be able to split the harness before it goes thru the firewall, that way I can pull the motor with the harness attached and split it with only 1 bolt

haha its actually not done yet, gotta go back before i get something final. it was all over the place as far as numbers go because we were trying different wastegate spring setups. The car had some issues with lag and boost creep. seems like the turbine AR is too big causing it to spool late, then once the turbo really starts going, the 44mm tial cant flow enough and it boost creeps uncontrollably. im going to swap the housing, add a second wastegate and bring it back for final tuning. made decent power and really loved the boost, it creeped to 28 the first time without a hiccup, but the tune has basically no timing in it yet so there is some power being left on the table.

Thanks, I'm hoping to get it back on the Dyno this week. I've been slacking on it due to heat and the fact that I go out on my boat most weekends.

I just got the boost controller hooked up and added a second wastegate as the first ones placement wasn't ideal. Ran the second off of the drivers side exhaust pipe so it definitely will get priority flow when it opens. I have also been heat wrapping everything because the IAT would heat soak and throw everything out of wack due to wrong readings and speed density. Cross your fingers, and as far as power, made about 900 at 5500 rpms but we had to get out because the boost would start creeping

900 at 5500 with a 76mm...imagine what that thing would do with 88mm. Cool build man. Fab work looks really good!

Finally started working on this thing again. Took my Christmas money and invested in a matching set of 17" weld rt-s wheels to match the rears. I also am in the process of hooking up a line lock and proportioning valve. I made it to the track once in late october this year for its first passes and found some bugs. The rear brakes are getting too much fluid/pressure making it hard to do a decent burnout to heat up the tires, it also made for some scary braking on the big end cuz it'd lock up the rear if I got on em too hard. Anyhow, even leaving off the foot brake on cold tires, I pedaled it to an 11.03@148, lol basically spinning the whole track. Can't wait til it's warm again and I can really start tuning the chassis. It's still on its base tune also!!!
