which intake gasket for lq4 boost? Hey guys
Hows the felpro stock type gaskets work for boost on an lq4? The black plastic with the orange orings?
Do i need the metal permadry type intake gaskets or something else entirely?

downgrading? not quite sure i understand.
Ill be running around 10-15 lbs of boost with the stock lq4 plastic intake
heres my options:
1) use the stock type plastic gaskets with the orange orings
2) upgrade to the metal gaskets with orings (these are the permadry ones)
3) something else even better
so id like to know: for boost, is the stock plastic type fine or do i need to buy the metal perma-dry type or something else

I am assuming since you said plastic with orange rubber you are using a truck intake. (which the gaskets are totally different than ls1/6 gaskets)
I would recomend getting some new GM gaskets they updated them the Orange ones have issues and the new ones are green rubber with plastic And they work really well.

hey man, looking for the same gaskets in Brisbane, just wondering where you got yours from? also how is your truck/car running? Any other tips? I am trying to run an ls with nnbs truck manifold in a patrol.

intake gaskets I run a stock truck intake with just factory gaskets. I'm on 17psi and 800 to the wheel. Don't have a ton of time on it yet. But it hasn't been an issue to this point.
