Going after the stock short block record
The 5.3 only has rod bolts, head studs, valve springs and ls6 cam
The speed parts
It has an 85mm t6 1.0ar turbo, non intercooled with water/meth
car made 640 with loose converter
changing the converter this week and going back to the dyno then to the track this weekend I am hoping to run in the 5's first time out and then go from there

There was a gto that made like 825rwhp
I hope the rods will hold up
I am planning on running the 1/4 mile as soon as it is fast enough to beat the 8.9x in the 1/4 with the 1/8th time (5.60's or faster)

If you do get that 1/8 mile it might not stay together for a 1/4 mile pass since it puts more stress on the motor down the stretch
That GTO was done by hellbents on here. It made 825 on 22 psi and shortly thereafter it started to bend the rods. It ran 9.90 and it weighed in at 4000 lbs IIRC

that is why i am not going to run the 1/4 till I know that i have enough to beat the record
This has been a tuff year for me, I have had nothing but problems but finally getting it sorted out (switching to a tighter converter) and from a leaking air to water to water/meth setup
the car has the new holley efi on it (I love it)

also cool to see another holley efi user. I would recommend you create some failsafes. eg, if the duty cycle goes above X, cut spark and fuel, or if the AFR goes above Y, cut spark and fuel. it is very easy to do. if you need instructions let me know.
looks like your setup is very efficient. I would be interested in seeing your final base table. maybe we can swap tables.
btw, my car is about the same weight as yours at 31-3200lbs and it took 15psi to run 6.04 non intercooled so I think you can do it on less than 20psi.
i cant wait for skinnies to take his car out again. I think i read it was somewhat detuned on the 5.8 pass?

Hopefully late September I can take my 4 door to the track I ran my 10.0's at so I can make some more passes in it, shooting for 150+ mph and low 9's. It's definitely not a light car, as it sits its 3700+ lbs, been 142mph on 17.5lbs and now running 24.5lbs(just a single 76 tho), plus will be dropping some weight.
going to replaced tail shock and get driveshaft balanced
still hope to go out with the car this weeked
