Default Overheating issues

Ok I haven't read anyone with this problem. My car is overheating bad. Goes way beyond 235 in traffic. Once I start moving it goes back down to 210. It only does it when I rip on it. Meaning when I am driving it and I get on it. Today I drove it in traffic and it was fine. Yes I am using the stock temp gauge. Not once have I heard the fan kick on. Check all the fuses and relays and they are fine. This starting happening when I put in my wideband but doubt that has anything to do with it. My car has 69k miles. Any advice would be appreciated

Wire the fan to be on all the time and take it for a rip. If it doesn't overheat, that really starts pointing to a fan issue. If it still does, then you need to keep looking, although you still need to verify the fan comes on at the right temp.

Also, since I don't believe in coincidences, doublecheck the wideband wiring to make sure you didn't screw something up. We all make mistakes, and wiring can be a bitch. Ask me how I know
