I had a 408 in the above Z28 with an F-1A at 20 psi of boost. 20 psi is about the limit to what you want to push into good aftermarket non o-ringed four bolt per cylinder heads. An F-1R also uses up a lot more horsepower to run it. Now if you were putting together an engine larger than a 408 that you may want to run a larger blower, just keep in mind the F-1C/F-1R blowers are physically larger in size, and get into the stock radiator location.
