5.3 turbo build help... ok i have been reading on here for a little while and now i am ready for the plunge. i want to build a reliable dd 600+whp motor. i am getting the mp 70 or maybe the 76. i just picked up the block. i wanted to order the double roller timing chain, but i wasnt sure if it would fit behind the stock cover?? if not what cover do i use?? next i know everyone is useing the stock motors. but i was thing of just replaceing the rings, and all the bearings, z06 cam or a comp cam. yellow springs or lunatti valve springs.tial 44 mm blowoff valve, rec. the wastegate into the exhaust for less noise. ls1 or ls6 intake 100lb injectors low's from fast or equivallent... cable throttle maybe the stock one.truck manis,ebay front mount. any and all info or help would greatly appreciated. also gonna go with either the 4l60e or 4l80e which ever i fit at that time.

The t70 will be a little on the small side if your wanting much over 600rwhp and 100lb are a little on the large size for 600hp. I'm making 690-700 on 60lbs but they are maxed out.

Ok so I will go with the 76 . I just don't want to run the injectors more than 60% @ max duty, wot. just concerned for the injectors to last longer so to speak. What specs are your 5.3

Stock long block with arp rod bolts, clevite 77 rod bearings, mellings hv oil pump. 232dur .560lift 114lsa cam patriot gold springs, Vic Jr 85mm TB, 60lbs injectors, 76mm tec Turbo on 16psi, ebay 60mm wastegate and water to air intercooler. Burning VP 110 octane in a 1990 fox notch best 1/8 of 5.90@116.26mph 1.33 60'
