I do not have solid #'s for a FAST only, but I will say we seen some good #'s from a D1SC equipted 4th gen. recently which one of the upgrades was a FAST.

swapped parts:
LS6 intake to ported 92/92
Dynatech 1 3/4 w/ cats to Kooks 1 7/8 without cats
ATI twins to ATI race FMIC
ATI stock inlet to ATI truck inlet

seen 2 psi increase @ 6800 rpm

picked up 135 rwhp and I'm confident the FAST was worth something here

Is this to fit under a stock 4th gen hood?

How about picking up a sheetmetal intake like a Beck.

Comparisons from a turbo car have no relevance whatsoever, as boost/airflow are so easily changed. They are not fixed the same way they are with a blower.

Something like the ProFlo may be worth having. I personally dont believe that most intakes will offer any real improvement.

Ive a carb/elbow on mine and I still believe it performed better all round with the LS6 intake. I mainly changed for looks, and now that I'm using 2inj per cylinder, this would be difficult to achieve with a plastic intake.

I would consider swapping to a ProFlo at some stage though.

There just seems to be so little back to back testing of intakes with a supercharger. At least not that anyone releases. I guess that means most dont offer improvements or someone would be shouting about it.

if thats the case ill save my money and spend it somewhere else on the car. its just hard to believe no one has come up with a significant improvement on a 10 year old OEM piece for us FI guys.

It's clearly a very very good design to start with, with lots of airflow potential.

I'm sure there are some better options out there. But nobody is shouting about them, or proving them.
