Got some progress done today. Motor and trans are in, as well as most of the SJM ABS delete kit and line lock. Waiting on my Burkhart front bumper support so I can get the fuel cell mounted and run the lines.

More progress! Got most of the body panels temp mounted. Also got my burkhart bumper support today, bolts on PERFECT, great quality in the welds and very tight clearances to the bumper cover itself, highly reccommend anything from there. Working on my fuel cell mount now, just picked up some 1/8" x1.5" steel to make mount brackets with, should be done tomorrow. I love having a welder it makes things so much easier.

Think I have enough room in the engine compartment now????

Wrapped up the fuel system today. Built a nifty bracket to hold the a-1000 to the frame rail, got the regulator mounted by the PCM, very accessable for adjusting fuel pressure, and keeps most of the lines tucked out of the way. -10 feed to the pump and to the Y-fitting. Splits into -8's to each rail. From the back of the rails to the regulator are -6 and then from the regulator back to the fuel cell is -8. Still need to secure all the lines and tighten them down, but this is what I got done today.

Looks good. Did you run braided line to and from the tank? or is it hardline anywhere? any advantage to doing either?

its all braided line. My fuel cell is mounted in the front. The only advantage to hard line is cost. Braided stuff is a little easier to move around and is a little more forgiving if you run the lines a little too long.

Burned some midnight oil last night (bout 5 hours) And built my down pipe. its a 3" that stepps up to a 4" and all the way out....the fender! Just need to trim the excess off and weld in my 02 bung, clean up the rust and paint it. On another note, my welds are looking better, not good, but better!

Well it is only a 76, but where he has it placed, it looks like plenty of room for a future upgrade.

Why didn't you rotate the compressor outlet towards the front of the car so you don't have to have all that funky snake action going on?

The class I race in is limited to only a 76 mm, So it will stay 76mm, however I will be upgrading the unit itself.

Well originally I was going to run a whole different setup, but the rules changed and I didnt feel like buying more parts, so i just made what I had work.

Mainly. It will still be able to make a trip out in town for a local meet. And it's still registered and insured.
