turbo cam question im getting ready to put a bone stock 6.0L (iron block lq9) in my car this weekend, then adding a gt47-88mm turbo to it hopefully next week, this isnt my last move, this is just temporary, by summer of 2012 ill have a 408 stroker to replace the stock block, but in your opinion, what cam is the best forced induction/boost cam that i can use, im kinda new to boost world so i need different opinions, thanks.
Im partial to the zo6 cam.....cause they are cheap. The lingenfelter turbo cam is very nice too if you can find one. They dont make it anymore. Because gm has the ls9 cam. A little bit more gets changed with the ls9 cam, so if your looking for cheap and easy....the c5 zo6 cam. 02 to 04

That cam your going to run is very similar to the cam I run just with more lift, and slightly more duration on intake and exhaust.
People have tried to discount reverse grinds in turbo apps for years now. If you talk to the guys that actually go fast, Phil, Brian, and countless other's that are active in the FI section they will tell you the truth and that is reverse grinds most of the time will outperform other grinds in a turbo app. Single pattern grinds with wide lsa also tend to do well, it's the big positive exhaust splits in duration you have to stay away from with turbo's as they bleed exhaust pressure off to create overlap which helps create torque in a NA motor, whereas a boosted motor needs cylinder pressure to help spool the turbo.
