Can you clarify on the formual a little? Is it (MPH X .00426) / 3 X weight? I come up with 889?

Edit: While checking around I found this calculator that is pretty cool. It shows how much power it takes to gain mph in a exponetial curve. http://www.ajdesigner.com/fl_horsepo...trap_speed.php

No it's (mph x .00426) cubed x weight.
(144 x .00426)cubed x 4350 = 1004hp

3" downpipe. Had just a turndown on the car at the track. I usually run a 3" aluminum exhaust with a single Vibrant aluminum race muffler. I dynoed with the exhaust on as well.

I'm seeing more people running aluminum exhaust after the turbo is there a benefit?

Ended up quitting after my botched 2nd run. Tire on the drivers side got chunked pretty bad when I launched hard, and I ended up spinning anyways. Apparently I didn't clearance the wheel wells quite enough.

DA was 2492 feet. 4350 lb raceweight

All in all, I'm happy. Got my 140+ goal reached. Try next weekend for the 9.xx goal!

More info on the car can be found here
I'm not knocking by any means as it's a superb result all round. But kerb weight for a GTO is circa 3750 lbs
Why is yours some 600lbs heavier ?

It's a street car so I still have AC, stock wheels, heavier brakes, etc. I also gained 100lbs with the iron block. It also gained a good amount with the 4L80e swap, turbo, etc and the driver (me) is 300lbs

I could have a jockey drive it, but it's my car, so nah. Haha

Mine WAS 3960 with 4l60, aftermarket converter, iron 6.0 and turbo kit, half tank of fuel.

Also, i had no crash bars, all the heat shields under the car, vBrace, gas tank crash bar, nothing in the trunk except the tank, etc and a 240lb driver.

I can def see his weighing more.

The M&Hs are 28s. I put them on and street drove them and did a few street launches and stuff and then took the tires off and checked for rub. The plastic inner fenders needed to be heated up and tucked in, everything else looked OK.

After my hard track launch, the front fender lip dug in. My fenders are rolled but at the very front where there's thicker material, they weren't rolled. So now I'm grinding that down and will hopefully be good to go.

I attached my full slip
