alternate oil system...
alternate oil system... I couldnt find the info on wich alternate electric oil pump was used for a self contained oiling system for turbo's, does anybody have the company info or phone #? plan on useing different weight w/ lucas oils for the turbo only

Granatelli has an over priced self contained oil system as long as you have enough room to gravity drain back to the oil system. They use a small fuel pump, tank, oil cooler and thats about it. You could build one for under $200 easy. If you can not gravity drain that would require an additional pump of course.

does their oil pump push the oil thorugh the cooler or suck it through the cooler?
I imagine it pushes. In wich case you would need the gravity return. But you could piece it together really cheap.
Im worried about pump life at high oil temps though. If its pushing, the oil cooler wont help the pump in the case of using a fuel pump for this app.

I don't know much about the system just looked at the pictures. A few years back someone was posting that it would work with the Incon setup. But as soon as you look at the system you realize it must have gravity drain. Using a fuel pump as an oil pump, well it all depends on the fuel pump design.
I would just use a two stage dry sump pump if you want a totally separate system. Of course why bother, its really not needed with a good quality water cooled turbo.
