who here has maxed out an 88mm turbo t88 or equivelant? what the max whp on a turbo that size?

my buddy's 358 ford made 1320 rwhp maxed out (has been 4.97 in the 1/8 at 3400 on 275's)

gt55 88mm

Garrett's website shows the gt47 being 88mm and the gt55 sizes ranging from 91-105mm ??

You can buy one with an 88mm compressor and GT55 turbine (111mm).. stout turbo.

There is also the PTE Pro-Mod 88, which has a billet 88mm wheel, 111 turbine in a V-band exhaust housing (lighter)

The BWS500SX4-88 is also a badass cast wheel 88 and the PTE X275 large frame 88 is about the king ding a ling of 88's..

We build the GT55's for many companies....they range from 80mm to 106mm. They can be had in journal bearing form as well as Ball bearing.

we have one of FI's GT55/88 billet turbos making 14XXrw, and it still has more boost to go, I think it will make 15XX no problem

Are these turbos t4 flanged or the t6 flange?

Wow....haven't heard from Sebastion in a while so didn't know what he was up to and how that unit worked for him with that turbine wheel. That 88mm ETR wheel is a beast with the right turbine wheel.

BTW, an 88mm ETR just won the radial race here in huntsville this weekend and its rear mounted...lol. Car is flying.

its working great! sorry for the lack of updates.

The other turbo, the 47/88ETR is actually installed on my 94 car now, trying to decide on what size motor to put behind it, any recommendations?

We will be caling you soon about the turbo for the other project

I can only get 775whp with my t88 .96 ar for some reason I can't make power past 15psi?
