A4 with STS build hey guys its been a long while since i been on here.... i sold my 94 LT1 and not too long ago bought a 2002 A4 Z28... the car has 111k miles on it and shorty headers and 3.73s out back.... i hve an sts used turbo kit with intercooler that i am gonna put on.. i did a search but i'm not really finding what i'm looking for i keep getting cars that are forged and not stock bottom end.... my questions are what could i expect from the car on 8 lbs of boost if i have no stall on the car on a drag radial... the car is my DD driver and sees the track quite a bit... the car did a 13.50@ 103.9 and 2.0 60 ft... the d/a here sucks it was almost at 5000 thanks in advance guys
My guess would be about 12.5 if you hook but for a DD I wouldn't take it to the tack without the proper provisions like a better rear and perhaps a stall but I'm a worry wart.

The motor blows up...
You can drive it around for a short amount of time before you get it tuned but you need to keep it out of boost.
Without a tune once it gets into boost it will go lean/be over timed and it will detonate.

so about a full second increase? how much better with a stall converter? and say up the boost to about 10lbs if it wasn't my DD?
I personally would copy "Zombies" setup as close as possible.. You can search for a 100% detailed setup from him.
Converter is a must for even a stock auto, they are dogs other wise.
