Default TC78 fitting sizes

Hey guys just had my TC78 arrive today and need to order some fittings for the vacuum hole and i need fitting sizes for the feed and drain. Can anyone help me out on thread sizes?

Also how can i tell if my turbine housing is the correct size as there is no stamp to say in it? Its brand new from Turbonetics.

Cheers Nick

I just jumped on Flea-bay and ordered the feed flange and drain flange then went from their at a local speed shop.

I still have both my flanges and -an fittings from my tc78, i cannot use them on the BWS400. i have no clue what shipping Aus. would be.

Hi Nick, I just went through the same search, that info is no where for some reason! These are the parts I used

Oil inlet 1/8npt: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GAR-J9032/
Oil outlet: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TNT-20259/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TNT-30244/
Exhaust flange: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TNT-30241/

The vacuum hole is 1/8npt too. Not sure on how to tell A/R.

The a/r should be stamped on the exhaust housing flange(where it mounts to your hotside)

Can also get them here a little cheaper (for T4 housing):
http://racepartsolutions.com/products.asp?cat=102

The AR is cast on the inside of the exhaust inlet if I remember correctly.

Thanks fella's, found the A/R hiding inside the exhaust housing definitely 1.15

So on the oil feed fitting it has what looks to be a filter in built this should be 1/8 npt thread into it yeah along with the vacuum hole thread?
Im going to have a bit of left over -6 braided from my fuel lines is that too big for the feed or will the filter sort that out or should i go with -4 on the feed?

What size drain is best suited? -8 or -10?

Thanks again for the help, im buying all my fittings and hoses from the States so i have to be sure before ordering anything.

Maybe make some calls on this side of the pond ! Start with a few of the Sydney shops : Marrano's , Castle Hill Exhaust , Russo Performance , Just to name few.

Oil feed -4 is the norm. Oil return you want 19mm ( 3/4" ) as minimum.

Do -10 on the drain, seems to be the standard, -8 might be getting a little small, there is no pressure on the outlet so it needs all the room it can get to fall out of the turbo into the pan. -4 or -6 works good on the feed since either will be slowed down by that tiny filter inlet regulates the flow. Good luck, should be fun!
