7s with a F1 is pretty damn awesome. Congrats on the accomplishment. What does that thing weigh?

The suspention works very good on that car. the time slip is a bit decieving it 60's but the first 20' is not fast at all for the end result. the car needs to leave under way more boost. thats easy with the gear and convertor change shawn is doing. He really just wanted to get some testing in this season and go after it next but the car just works so it was easy. Nothing shawn has is hacked everything is done clean and right its a super nice car. shawn,His dad and crew really have done a great job. Im gona go out on the limb and say the car goes 7.6 next year and i hope we have something for him.

That's in the running for the most effortless looking 7 second pass I've ever seen. Congrats!

Thanks Steve, that what I'm hoping to run by the end of next year. I just dont want to jynx myself and claim it will before I do lol. We have a lot of 1/8th mile racing before we try 1/4 again.

Friggin' better yet man! Getting it done! Nice work sir!

Can i ask a really stupid question, at the risk of sounding like a complete retard and mainly because im not familiar with superchargers to save my life, but why the gear drive, over say a cog system?

Please be easy on me, lol. Flame suit is on though

Exactly, I hear the belts get real expensive too. Its easier on the crankshaft too.

The last comment is what i was looking for the most i think, lol. ive kind of always thought that cogs wernt hard on cranks at all. My thinking was since they were cogged, they wouldnt need much of any tension on them at all.

But then again, i rarely ever read up on SC systems.

Guess i was wrong

But, none the less, BAD *** RUN! Congrats on getting to the 7s!

I dont know if i missed it but whats the cubic inch of this engine? production block?
and in the build you said the blower is only 60%?
this is on a 4 bolt head, anything special to hold them down??

Man not only is it impressive for 4 bolt heads and 275's but you have to weigh 3250 or 3300 for x275 correct? Damn impressive!
