Well I finally got some pics of my 370 and its ready to go in
Hey guys its been awhile since Ive been on here but as you can see Ive been busy Ive got my Heintz Racing Engine and it wont be long now we should be able to dyno it in a week or so. This is what we are putting together: 370ci LS2 block with main stud girdle, single oringed, 1/2 ARP main studs 10.7cr, Billet Lunati crank and rods, JE pistons, Mahle rings, 215 AFR heads (341 cfm @ 600) xceldyne valves, LS9 head gaskets, ported LS2 intake. Also you can see the F1A Procharger on the front of it and we will be maxing it out so if anyone wants to give a educated guess on the power would be great it will be run through a RPM level 7 4l65, 3600 vigi, 9" moser, Kooks 1 7/8 and Kooks 3" true duals. Thaks jeff

10.7comp. and 22-25psi is alot of cylinder pressure,
any pics of the girdle?
I think it will make 1070 on the tire dyno jet
how did you get a 370? you get the block re-sleeved
I am doing damn near the same build... 1/2 main studs with a girdle, 365inch only 9.5:1 maxed out f1r looking to make 1100 on the tire
any pics of the girdle?

I think the reason he asked if the block was resleeved is because most don't bore the ls2 that much. Anything above .010 over could make the sleeves too thin. That isn't a good thing if you are going to put a lot of boost to it.

^^^ exactly what i was thinking alot of pressure on a thin sleeve,
OP your build is right at the same **** im doing I have a44mm waste gate already piped in my set up to controll boost on the street.
keep me posted on this!! I dont know if my car will get done over this winter it will probably take until middle spring before mine refires

that compression matched with that amount of boost doesn't seem like a good idea does it? You will probably have to run a lot of meth and race gas to prevent detonation.
I'm going with a similar build but I was planning 9.5:1 compression.

usually if compression is high you will need less boost to make your dyno number. Although race gas, meth, or E85 will probably be needed to prevent detonation.
I'm really unsure how well your compression ratio will work with high boost. Has anyone else done a high compression, high boost build and had good luck with it?

I know the cr is 10.7 to1 and were going to push it if it blows we'll build another one. Ill be running race gas and meth when im on high boost but I should be ok with pump gas on no more than 7lbs on low boost while its on the street. jeff
