I have been running a meziere street pump on my car for the last 3 years. About 5k a year. No problems so far. I might be switching out to a remote mount WP with my new build. I am not sure yet. So mine might be up for sale

I have an electric Meziere water pump on my LS2-402. It is installed with a relay, so it is not directly wired to the battery. Check with Meziere as this is what they recommend. I put on about 3,000 miles per year. No issues at all. If you run a large aftermarket throttle body then you will likely need to machine out about a 1/4" from the bottom of the throttle body for it to fit. Drag Racers seem to like electric water pumps as you can keep the water pump running while in the staging lane. Between the electric water pump, a 160-degree thermostat, and E-85 fuel, my GTO stays nice and cool even in 100 plus degree Texas heat.

^^ this and I keep my Electic water pump and fans running after the vehicle is shut down by programing the ECM to keep the fans running if the ECT is over 180. I have 2 turn on for my water pump and the low speed fans is one. Helps cool the car down quick between rounds

If I remember correctly I have the 55GPM model #WP319S.
This model uses the old style/size small block Chevy thermostat.

Subscribed for an answer as well. I seem to need a new water pump, but at 100% street use, should I go electric or normal, and which one is the best/recommended? (Yes, I have been searching, but haven't found any specific answers just yet.)

For 100% street use I would just stay stock. No need to spend the extra $$ considering it will cost almost 3x the for an electric over stock
