Time to talk about new motors....Bigger ones!

Ok well I'm sure a couple of you have read my in depth build on my 370. So far she's made a best of 822/726 on 18.47psi and that blower is out of steam. I plan on putting a new clutch in her when I get home on leave and running her as is for now. Its time to start planning something bigger though. So far my thoughts are a solid roller 434" RHS/ERL, with some finely massaged Allpro heads, F1R on a lot more boost and E-85. I'd like to hear some opinions and advice on what you guys think. Goals are to get somewhere high on the fastest 6spd list.....yes she's staying a 6spd for now. Once I get somewhere on the list I'll throw a built 4L80 in her. I would like to try and make this my endall motor combo minus small changes here and there. Opinions? The fastest I believe is in the 8.80's around 156mph on a N20 car.

Its a budget 370 and is still running the stock crank. I know guys have made 1000rwhp on the stock cranks but just as many have had distortion issues. Like I said I'd like to try and make this the last motor for the car barring small changes. I'd also like to lose a little weight and go back to an AL block vs the FE. Another plus is the ability to run more aggressive big bore heads and the 6bolt per cyl setup. I know guys have gotten by with less but I'd really like to get somewhere on that list and its going to take a decent amount of power to do it.

those 416ci ls3's from LMR are turning heads. a build like that is supporting over 1300rwhp and pulling 244mph in texas mile. im sure you could still custom build one nicer. just depends on what your goals are. would like to see you stay on the lsx platform. if someone says ls9 on here....get a moderator.

well from what i hear the ls7 block is a bit thin on cylinder walls for real large amounts of boost. i see people doing it all the time, but seems to me the ls9 used a 6.2 for a reason eh. you should help me pin my crank in my threads. i know YOU know how. and if you can answer me....i can get off here and go put on my d1. not trying to hi jack. its just early (12:00) and not alot of answers so far by ppl who know....

I plan on working some experimental stuff for the trans lol. I have 2 sitting around so when I break one I'll stick the other in and just rebuild the first. Once I get somewhere on the list I'll put a built auto into it. I just want some other opinions on motor combos. So far I like the 434" idea the best.

All pro because their proven and work very well. I would need to do some homework on the other heads. What crank pinning kit are you using? I pinned mine from the front with 2 pins. I actually want to put it together myself but IDK if I'll be able to since I'm overseas and will be for awhile.

i am not sure if i need to drill through the hub at the provided keyway path that ATI provided...or drill a new path thru the hub....i am also unsure as to whether or not i should install the jig directly to the crank snout and drill it that way and then line the hub up afterwards...basically i have no idea how to do it. and its been holding up my install for 5 days. use this video as reference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5E5Vavbp7E this is my rough draft video for making sure noone ever has this problem again.
