I love DIY roots builds. I would suggest switching the lightning M112 for a Cobra version for the side inlet. The Cobra inlet flange isnt perfect, but flows quite a bit more than the truck inlet and will fit your engine bay better
Heres mine off a GT500. Wish I could have found a TVS unit for cheap like Hank, but the stock blower is pretty stout

can you not get a aluminum spacer and drill a hole straight down for the intake bolt. weld both top and bottom to seal it back up and be able to mound all of your bolts on the top side of the plate. Looks good though.

I'm not planning on makking anymore of theses, though if I did I could sell about 5 today. While I enjoy experimenting with my own stuff, I wouldnt want to have something out there for sale and have one fail. Not only the liability of a failure, but i dont want a bad name becuase something didnt last like I thought it should.
As far as the intake bolts go, there are 5 that are studs and are hard to install, but can be done. the problem with putting the hole all the way through is that the bolts that hold the blower on partially line up with the intake bolts below it. I'm not saying that this is the best way to do it, but after days of thinking, this was the only way I saw to do it.
And lastly, the main reason I am using the lightning blower is that I got it from trading parts. The earlier cobra s/c will not fit, there is significant issues with the heater/ac box. The newer cobra blower may have been an option, but I like the price of the one I have =)
Finishing the welding up now, will post pics soon!
