Here's how I did mine with my Procharger set up, Now I have truck manifolds for turbo set up but I welded on v-bands so it clears alt still in stock location.

You can use a Meziere pump like this one http://www.meziere.com/ps-1138-1106-wp319b.aspx with our bracket. http://vtsql.gkvbf.servertrust.com/C...it-p/cbr01.htm

Will the BMR bracket clear a manifold setup? Thats the problem I have now with the alternator on a stock bracket, the alternator wont clear unless you cut off the flanges. I need a bracket to move the alternator to the top of the driver side head.
I just need a alternator bracket that works with a manifold turbo setup where it runs straight off the crank since my water pump doesnt have a pulley or belt provision it. The water pump is not the problem, the manifold flange hits the alternator in the stock location. If your wanting my water pump I dont think you are understanding what I am looking for.

Mine are tig'ed but iv seen a handfull that were mig'ed too with same results. From what a few super techs were saying, the manifolds have a lot of steel to them so they weld just like any other steel. Some people say you have to pre and post heat them but more people, imcluding myself, did not do any of that, just welded them like it was reg. ol' steel and worked just fine! You might want to do it a different way but i dont see a need to.
Heres a link with everything youll ever need to know, lol..

Thanks for all the help. I just have to decide whats the best way to go, weld v bands or just move the alternator. I am leaning towards v bands mainly because I already have 2 mint stock alternators and buying V bands is cheaper than a new alternator and brackets. Plus I agree about the looks.
