Default Top Mount F1C Camaro Build

Here are a few pics of a project my cousin is taking on. This unique project is just getting started. Project started by swapping the 600rwhp 427 with the 408 w/blower out of vette

Some of the basics
98 camaro - Stripped
408
worked L92 heads
Donkey Dick cam
Custom Sheetmetal intake
Procharger F1C
Corvette Brackets, 30mm cog w/flip drive
Kook 1-7/8"
Twin cut-outs
mini-fridge sized A2W
TH400
Cage
Moser 12-bolt
corn juice

Shooting for 4-digits and an 8-sec timeslip

Glad to see I'm not the only crazy bastard that hates the regular procharger mounting position. That is cool.

It was. I dropped down to a F1C to make it more reliable on the street. I'm taking that motor and putting it into the camaro. Putting the 427 from the camaro into the vette. Decided to make one race car and one street car, instead of having two barely drivable street car's!

600hp 427ci will run great on the street with the Vette I'm assuming the Camaro is the race car , Nice looking setup and cars.

I like the user " more juice " over OP " No juice "

Keep us posted.

I'm eager to see how you get this to work. I always wondered if it was possible to mount the procharger up top like in the vette's.

Bump for you-going to follow this thread closely. Wondering what your going to do with the AC, powersteering and alternator.

IMHO-the Vette bracket setup is light years ahead of the Fbody setup.

Major props for running the vette brakets. Looks great man. I think there is another member on here who has done the same. You running camaro accessories or the vette stuff? And how well does the pulley align with the crank? I wanna see how well it works and fits with the fans and radiator etc.
Looking good so far man!

No updates just yet. We are working on converting the Vette flip drive to work on the Camaro. It requires making some new brackets for it.

We will continue to use the F-body accessories.

The radiator will be stood straight up like the turbo kits.
