Default Displacement V/ RPM's

Trying to figure out what would be the best set-up. I currently have a 6.0 block that I am building for boost. I am going to probably go with a TC88 turbo. I am at the point of trying to figure out what crank to go with a 4.0 stroke and make it about a 403ci and not run the motor above to 5500 rpm for the longevity of the motor. Or should I stick with the stock crank 3.622 and spin it up to 7500. Is it going to be better with more ci or higher rpm with the large of a turbo.

why the hell would you not spin a forged motor over 5500rpm but a stock bottom end to 7500rpm. i think you have it backwards. Your kind of short on details to like is it a street car or a drag car. I also wouldnt build my engine to my turbo demands i would do it the other way, get your motor situated then pick a turbo. I would think your tc88 would be a lot more friendly if you went with the 403. i have a tc76 and i love how it spools

Just fyi, when I was on a stock block with a t76 I was spinning to 6400 and never skipped a beat. (On 8 psi) On my forged 408 I'm turning it to at least what I was spinning the stock motor too.

I was just thinking since it was a stroker to not run high rpm's, mainly because of the rod geometry. That was my concern. If I were to elaborate I would have to say it's a street car with a cage. My main concern was how bad the lag would be with the 88. Turbonetics said it had slightly more lag than the 76.

A 365~370 88mm can be set up to run just fine twisting 62~6500RPM.
