Exclamation Intake manifold for forced induction?

Okay, I'm building a LSX 427 and am putting on a F2-R ProCharger. I've been told the Edelbrock Flo-Pro XT is a good intake by some, but some say it loses power on the low end. I'm also considering the Victor Jr. I'm wondering witch of these, or any other intake would be best for this motor. Most likely going to be using LS-9 heads. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am curious as well. Intakes act differently under pressure.

I have the pro-flo XT. I used to have a Vic Jr. unfortunately i changed a lot of other things when i changed the manifolds so i dont have a back to back comparison. But i am very impressed with the low end torque that i can still get out of the pro flo XT. its main operating range is 1500-6500rpms

Since they don't make a Flo-Pro XT for the ls9 head yet, what would be a good head that would bolt up to it thats flows good for boost?

I wouldn't worry too much about a loss of low end torque with a 427. What are you planning on your upper rpm being? I don't think the Victor Jr will be enough intake.

The new Holley intake looks very promising and they are coming out with one for the LS7 heads (supposedly) in several months.

• Intended for use on N/A or forced induction engines in the 6.0 to 7.0+ liter range, max power at 7000–8000+RPM. Bob

no lol
I had to trim the underside of my VHN WS9 hood to fit a victor Jr and an Aarons elbow. I dont think anything but a stock/fast style fits without doing work to the hood.
