yes ur right
the spark plug can turn into a glug plug like a diesel...

NON projected plugs are safer, and more used in supercharged / turbocharged applications.

If your pulling plugs and reading them, and your tune is off enough to nick the strap off a plug then you have MUCH bigger problems than having a projected tip plug in there, like timing being to far advanced, or having too hot of a plug in there.

on my formula, I didnt run any better/worse with a BR7EF vs a TR6, 402ci on pump and 175 shot performance wise. I did however notice that when I went to the BR7EF, the car did run as well on the street on the same tuneup.
