376 is probably a better bet

I don't think either one of them will take a lot of boost. Maybe lower levels but nothing like you are wanting.

376 scares me becuase of the powdermetal rods.

the 454 scares me becuase of the thin walls and the 11:1 compression.

GM needs to do a 6 bolt still 377 with forged intrenals. lol.

If you want something asap, why not give one of our vendors a call? They can hook up up with a longblock no problem.

376 has stock rods, 58x reluctor, stock LS3 heads with stock beehive valve springs, doesn't work for most people or needs to be upgraded.

Our 390 or 410 engines are a better option.

If GM would have put better internals in the 376 they would have a great seller.

Heard great things about the service and engines from AES!!!
