Default oil feed and drain
where are you guys tapping the oil pan for feed and return for a turbo setup? pics would be great.

i found this for feed, what do you guys think?

That is the feed I am using. So no picture required. I tapped mine with -10 fittings right in front of the oil pan by the balancer. Most thought the balancer would get in the way but it doesn't. I used a 90 on there and it slopes oh so slightly but will drain with no issues.

thx for the pics man.

ive heard some people put the drain on the timing cover. Thats alot easier than pulling the oil pan.

What size feed do you guys recommend? -3 or -4? Journal bearing Turbo.

I know -10 for return.

does this apply for a large frame t6 turbo? i am running a -4 feed with no restrictor with a -12 drain and haven't had a problem yet.

The feed I used that port right above the oil filter that most use. Just drill it out and tap it out. return I had a guy that can weld on the bung


Is that CBR just for a feed or is it a return as well? That thing is pretty nifty.

No that was for T4 turbos

T6 setups usually are -4 feed and -12 drain

Yes the CBR oil block is for feeding the turbo not draining

Anyone used the Dirty Dingo piece? Looks pretty nice, and at $24.95 it is pretty reasonable in price!
