Just talked to forced inductions again, when i sent the turbo out for rebuild i forgot to send a info/rebuild sheet with it.... I have never sent one to them before so i guess thats kinda my bad, didn't know, he said they sort them right when they come in and if it has no paper work they assume its for scrap?? I hope they find it , i sure as hell can't afford to buy another damn turbo, paid 800.00 for that one before the rebuild!

That's BS. The least they could have done is called you before they "scrapped it".

Yeah I know, not sure what he meant by scrapping lol (hoping its not torn to pieces already ), they are looking for it though, i've only heard good things about them on PT.net, thats why i sent it to them. We'll see what happens, hopefully everything works out.

"Hey look, this really nice Garrett turbo just showed up with a tracking number. Clearly this is a turbo nobody wanted and and felt like paying $40 to ship it to me for the sole purpose of scraping it out."

Yes very good point, why would you track a scrap turbo let alone pay 40-60 (65.00 in my case with extra insurance that didn't help lol) bucks to ship it?

Called Forced Inductions again today after sending them pictures of the turbo last night, they have not found it and it doesn't sound like they are to worried about it either!! I don't get mad easy but i'm starting to?? Who the hell sends a turbo with 1500.00 in insurance, delivery confirmation etc... just to have it mistaken for a scrap turbo, the damn turbo looks almost new! The shipping label also had my contact info and personal cell on it too, i called them 2 days after the date they received it to add info which obviously didn't get added. I just can't afford to lose out on 800.00 bucks like that. Most of us are on a budget now a days, can't pick up a new turbo whenever i want.....

on another note, got the intake and fuel rails on this morning, had a buddy (SATAN) modify the fuel rails to feed from the center of the new cross over, this should give it a very even fuel flow to both rails, also shifted the fuel rail mounting tabs forward and added custom spacers for my taller 60lb S. Dekas.

I would NOT let them get away with this. Stay on top of them. If they acknowledge they received the turbo then they are responsible. "we miss placed it" is not going to cut.

Not to mention this whole scrapping thing just sounds bogus to me. Why would someone pay to ship something to be scrapped when they can scrap it themselves without loosing money??

Come on WTF.

Maybe we'll see it "scrapped" on someone's build on here some day.

JK, hope you get this issue resolved with them man.

Not making excuses for them but they sell alot of turbos, they ship out at least a full pallet a day. Build their own turbos, cnc'ing the housings for different wheels, etc. They build turbos for over 35 different turbo vendors plus the public. Again not making excuses, I can see how they could lose it but they should replace it if they can't find it.

This^^^

If they do that much business, then one turbo that has been proven to be received by them and is now their responsibility, should be a drop in the bucket for them to replace.

they DO do alot of business, and you can tell they lack the means to provide the customer with the service they deserve, as well as organization skills. if things keep going this way, im willing to bet they wont be doing "alot" of business much longer.

Forced Inductions is a complete and utter JOKE.

After seeing what my buddy went through with them and what others have had to put up with I will be steering clear.

Nice build tho man! I wish you the best. I'd like to check it out sometime, I live up in WY.
