What did your car weigh with the D1 setup?

Ive been 10.5 @ 133, about 3700lbs, 6 speed, @ 12psi. I lost 3psi somewhere, if I can figure that out some day it should go faster plus my driving skills are lacking.

Car weighed 3525 that day I went the 10.3 But I was also having clutch/trans issues. Clutch was hazing on a hard lunch and would not let me shift 1-2. But on a softer launch I could shift the 1-2. I think the 10.3 was on a 1.6 60' but the car was doing high 1.4 and low 1.5 60's that day but would block me out of 2nd.

That track day is what made me deside to go auto. That and only getting 8k miles out of a $1000 clutch

yeah man. Speedsouth in Pelham is a great place to get it tuned. you should come race with me at lassiter mountain or Bama this year. PM me your info. Jim will do you right. But he is using a mustang 1100 so prepare for your number to be way lower than 470. and to the OP, I will tell you as soon as my auto is built and the new rear and slicks are on. I run 1/8 and im expecting mid 6's and high 10's depending on how much boost i make exactly.

Why not....all the cool kids in school are doing it....lol

If you're after making big power, then you're going to move from twin intercoolers to a single front mount, and you're going to move away from the stock jbracket and go with either the sdce or aster bracket with an 8 rib pulley. While you're at it, get rid of the stock air hat plenum and go with either a custom one or the truck inlet with a massive air filter.

I'm not sure running methanol would have saved me, maybe for a few more blasts, but ultimately, pushing as much power as I was on a stock piston never was going to last, no matter what Hot Rod says.

Besides how much boost I was pushing, fact is, I was making enough horsepower to max out my 60lb injectors... so I'm sure someone has a calculator to questimate how much power that is.

what kind of clutch dschmittie1? ( do you think the RXT twin will hold up? at similar power levels/abuse)

Where can you get custom inlet hats done alchemist? (for future reference)

after doing some research it looks like most procharger guys are running twin inter-coolers in to the wheel wells. i can live with that.

Your injectors were maxed out because you didn't have a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. Based on my car you were probably around 700rwhp sae. I think your a/f and lack of meth is what took out number 7.
