Engine Rebuild with S/C ?'s I recently purchased a 2002 TA with around 30,000 miles on it. I have owned it for a few months now and have recently developed some unhealthy engine noise. After some investigation I have determined that I have either crushed a lifter or there is something else wrong deep inside the engine.
I have decided that I am going to pull the engine and perform a full performance rebuild. I will be boring .030 over and running higher compression pistons. I will also be running a hotter cam and having the heads fitted with larger intake and exhaust valves. I will also be upgrading all of the internals and valvetrain with new higher performance parts to make sure that I do not have any more issues.
I have been contemplating installing a supercharger while I have the engine out. I have been doing some looking around and have found several options that all seem to be in the same general price range. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what supercharger would work best in this application? Also, are there any major issues that I should consider before I dive into this project? (any major parts issues or other upgrades that should be considered)
I understand that this is going to be very expensive to do and I have access to funds so that I can possibly throw 10-12k at it.

What price rang are you looking at?
I would 100% tell you not to buy a vortech kit. They are impossiable to find parts for. If it was me I would look at Virgina Speed for a turbo set up or Josh at Kentuky Turbo... More power simliar price but thats just my 2cents
