Even though an on site tune is the BEST way to do it......

Futral sent over a base map to us for one of our F2 TT kit customers and it was spot on for low boost. (80lb/hr injectors & MAF)

Just saying.

Also thanks for the props man, looks like a sick build, I can't wait to see some track vids.

nice build man only thing i got to say is that the welds are rough, turn down the wire speed or turn up the volts. The weld is way to cold, you want it to have some convex shape to it but not alot.

Thanks guys. I didn't do the welds. I don't have a clue how to weld. But I will surely keep the advice in mind should I need to reweld anything! Thanks

Looks good man. This looks really similar to the build that I'm in the progress of doing. I painted my engine bay though I just got back from sea, it's time to get back to work on it. If I were you, I'd think about upgrading the fuel feed and return if you don't want to limit yourself.

Man that looks good. I had EVERY intention of painting the car and running the new fuel supply. But that was when I thought I was going to only spend $8k lol. That quickly turned to $15k, and I was supposed to be done in November...

Are you going to be supporting the turbo's? also the intake ports on the heads don't look like a factory 317 port.

i should have probably noted that those heads were my lovely prc 5.3's i ran off the previous set-up. my pics with the 317's are part of the "lost files"...

ohh the last minute delays man. So i've been trying to figure out why my car wont idle. Read all of the searches just about. I am working with a mail order, i have a buddy that is logging and trying to tweak the tune so it can run. So far the car cranked the very first time and ran as long as i wanted it to. Since that time, it will crank and idle no longer than 10 secs, or if i hit the gas it bucks and starts it's shut down sequence. prime fuel pressure @ ~40psi running psi is @ 50. I have an adjustable regulator, so i can get the running psi higher, but i'm just trying to figure out the stalling issue. It feels like i have one spark plug working when i push in the gas. feels horrible. it's supposed to be a speed density tune but it earlier threw a maf code. it also had a tps code but replaced it and code went away.

can you post the tune? I'd check and make sure that your coils are hooked up right and swap out the plugs.

Yep coils are in good. Plugs are brand new, ngk t7 (didn't gap them to anything specific) but that shouldn't cause it to stall right? I'll see if my buddy will post the tune. All data was logged with part throttle because it wouldn't stay alive otherwise. Man now that I'm reading this, I'm wondering if it is the plugs??

should have them gapped around .030ish. What's the fuel pressure used in the tune to calculate the IFR for the injectors?
