You fit 40 feet if wrap on one header?

ceramic coating I would think would not hold as much heat in as wrapping. much thinner layer of covering to hold heat in. Heat transfer is related to thickness, specific heat capacity, mass density, etc. Don't get me wrong though, ceramic coating looks great.

So wrapping is better then coating? Why do you want the heat to stay in?

Simply stated... Heat=Pressure=Boost/Spool

Also, keeps the heat out of the engine compartment and reduces melting of things (Spark plug wires, plastic parts, etc) and electrical failures due to heat.

In a nutshell.

Could be. I'd love to see a comparison of the two. This coating is done inside and out. If I don't think the coating is doing good enough I might opt to wrap them as well.

That turbo exhaust housing was my friends back up turbo. His regulars were coated and when he used the back up after 2 passes it was melting his hood. His coated turbos didn't get anywhere near warm enough to damage the hood.
