Default does mount orientation of a wastegate matter?

I have a front mount truck manifold setup. I plan on running 2" piping from where it comes together under the turbo flange to the wastegate. Does it matter how the wastegate is mounted - sideways, upside down, straight up and down? Due to space constraints, it would be easiest to mount it sideways, if that makes sense.

does not matter how its positioned (up, down, sideways) as long as you have good wastegate priority

make sure you are getting priority from both sides of the crossover as well, for example if you have your two pipes coming to a merge, then you want it in the middle of those two pipes, not off to oneside or the other
