Last time I heard sts were selling there harness's for around $100 but that's been couple years ago.
But can't go wrong with a 30amp relay, in line fuse and some good gauge wire.

Its only two wires bud. IIRC, its red and black..... Cant mess that up. Red is power, black is ground. As Badazzss said, run a 4 prong relay, and a fuse, all is good.

You'll have maybe 20 bucks in it, if that???

Old thread…. But a relay allows you to run a high amperage component without burning the switch up. Wire the switch to the relay, then the relay to component.

found a 4 prong relay and relay socket to make my wiring look more professional. looks like 16 gauge wire should suffice for power and ground supply wires

had another question on this, where should i have the oil pump wired to for a 12 volt source. The above link shows a wire going to the positive battery, but that would give a constant source obviously so i need a switched on location.
I was wondering if i should do the alternator but not sure. What else would be a good switch source so that the relay only gets voltage when the cars "on" and not constantly sucking up voltage.

4 prong relay,

Power from battery into it, out to the pump. Ground the relay, use the signal wire for the factory fuel pump to activate the relay, oil pump primes and runs with fuel pump.... Done

ah, ok and since the fuel pump is running off the racetronix hotwire kit, the stock power wire for the fuel pump should be ok

yeah it should work just check the wire with a voltage meter to verify you have a "switched" 12v source
