Nice numbers, that is a crazy boost curve just by looking at the graph would guess a procharger. Should go WELL into the 9's on that power without an issue!

Jim(Parish) was bored, and I have been wanting to get it on the Dynojet.

I called Danat Dynosport, and he let us bring it down at 7:00 last night.

We drove the wagon to Dynosport in Lincoln.

First pull was spring pressure(as low as it will go), and how I drive it on the street. That was 608 hp at about 11 to 12 lbs boost.

Probably made about 12 to 14 pulls, all over 600 hp.

I still have alot of tuning to do, primarily above 13 lbs boost.

But I stopped at 18 lbs, and it made 800.8 hp. :lost:

This is a stock(Z06 cammed) 5.3, and twin 61 MasterPower turbos in the 67 NovaWagon.

Stock rod bolts, stock ring gap, stock tty head bolts.

Not too bad...100 miles round trip,5 gallons gas,2 gallons pump E85 and 800 hp.

http://dynosport.com/overall/7.htm

Thanks again to Dynosport in Lincoln,Ne.
In the other post it lists the motor as a 6.0,are you sure its a 5.3 and not a 6.0----stock everything with twins holding together at 800+hp...got to be a 6.0

I'm sure it is a 5.3, the other thread is old, and we Destroyed that 6.0 on the last day of DragWeek in '09.

Sorry for the confusion.

Me too. We have mine down to 9 degrees at full boost but hope that we can end up around 12 degrees as we slowly ramp it back in. Still learning though. Keeping it fat also. Any info on your timing and how you guys are pulling it and ramping it back in would be cool.

Timing is just like Mike's Mustang( 6.0 Pt88)

As soon as it goes into boost we pull the timing to 15 to 17 degrees. Can't recall exactly.

Timing is still being controlled by the MSD 6010.

The car still needs alot more tuning, but I have been working on the 3rd gen, so the Nova will get better, but I have to get more done on the Camaro, before I can get back to my junk.

Another no intercooler car!!!!

Can you tell me if these would be a close match to your 61 turbos, these are made by the same company that makes the gt45 for a $300,lots of good reviews(gt45) and i like the price
thanks for clearing that up,awesome numbers on the 5.3..gives me hope..

His dyno reads the boost higher than my car, about 1.5 lbs.

The 18 lbs(and any stated boost #s) is from my logs, from the MS3.

I would not run them, but if you do, let us know (good or bad) how they hold up.

I think it is too much money(too close to what a low line Precision costs) to give for a turbo with no data, and sold buy people with no way to give you data on them.

Hell, you don't have to spend much on the engine, that alone, helps with buying the same turbo I used, or the entry level precision, like the 6076E.

I would not bash you for using those ebay turbos, but I could not tell you if it will work or not.

I have no experience with them.
