My tuner really prefers tuning with a MAF. He has no issues getting it to make power and keep really good driveability even in different weather and altitudes.

Did some more moch up tonight. Got everything completely ready to weld. I forgot to take pics on the blower side sooo those will come once its finished.

On the intake side it turned out really good i think. The coupler that is after the 90 wont be there it is only there to hold the pipe in place for the pic.

Comments?

A MAF set up will never be as repeatable, consistent and has a much lower HP threshold then a speed density system does. I would switch tuners before I ever ran a MAF set up on a custom system.

Basham it was very easy. All i did was shave off the back side of the brackets on both the bumper support and the fog light brackets themselves with an angle grinder. Took probably 20min or so to do both sides. I just shaved off and kept rechecking until i had enough gap that i was happy with. Didnt have to cut or reweld anything.

In order to save some space i actully put the mounting tabs of the front mount on the back side of the bumper support mounts instead of the front. That pulled the IC back about 3/4". If you want a pic of that let me know.

Thanks! The intercooler I plan on runing is a cxracing one off of eBay. I included the size of it below. Let me know if you feel it will fit in between the bumper support.

Core Size: 24x12x4 inch

My buddy finished with the powder coat today. Just have to clean the inside of the pipes really good and finish my ABS delete and it will be time to put the car back together.

Do you have any pictures with the bumper installed? I would like to know if you can see the vertical supports if the license plate cover is removed.
