From what I have seen when you start to max out a D-1SC on a 400+ cubic inch engine you tend to not make as much power as you do with an F-1A. Spinning the D-1SC that hard makes the inlet air temps go up, and it just isn't as efficient.

I have never seen an F-1A come close to the 864 rwhp Mustang Chassis Dyno numbers that are in the above dyno graph that was an LS2/402 with an F-1A at only 12.4 psi of boost. The owner of this CTS-V took his car to another shops dyno day and made more power on their dyno. Bob

bob was this ctsv a auto or manual? im getting ready to order a F1a for my setup? just wondering about them...

To the OP i have a set of 317 heads id let go CHEAP message me if interested....

My motor is being built currently and all should be together Mid April. Fingers crossed. Bob was that man and shipped my cam out to AES, so they should have it shortly. I've sent my crank pulley so they can get it mounted, double pinned. Hoping I don't run into any problems.

yeah I should prob ship AES my damper and pullies since the aster bracket and cam are being sent there too. about to start my build thread.
