^^ That right there, is why I made the decision to get away from the LS engine, and why I drew the line in the sand and am going to just run 8.50 index.

That's too much like work to be fun.

Don't get me wrong though, I respect what you guys do that push the envelope.... but man the cost factor puts it way out of my reach, even if I got a couple guys to go in on the whole deal with me, I still don't think it would be fisable.

this might be old as hell to ask this question but that tubular bar up front that bolts to your front frame horns, is that custom or available somewhere to purchase???

reason i ask is because i'm getting ready to possibly front half my car to reduce a ton of un-needed weight....

and i know you said "harry glass doors" but where are those doors available for purchase???? I'm doing comparo's between VFN, KOS, and a few others... thanks guys. Build thread looks sick. Giving me a lot of ideas about cutting up the front of my car...

cause race car

Nice ans straitforward i/c and ice chest plumbing. Minimal line's too, saves money and weight, and will make for a really clean install!

Simple=win in my book. Less nonsense to deal with the better. Are you running any engine cooling at all? With the block filled ic assume it's heads only regardless... Same water for the ic, trans and engine too? Build looks killer regardless!

actually I have a water tank for evry one, one for the trans cooler one for the heads and one for the intercooler, I had too much trouble with the trans and the i/c running off the same tank temps up to 150 degrees, So i decideed to split everything up. the other teo water tanks are in the trunk. So Basically I don't need a fire system all teh water will just come pooring out. LOL

Water lol! That's slot of water tanks! I do get the temp issue, always wondered how one ice tank was going to work out, and not end up pumping hot water they the ic by the end of a run, makes sense. I thought about the water tank in the trunk instead of a radiator for the bbc, but I never really got a good answer on how big a tank I needed, so I went with a little radiator. But, with the motor running on alcohol, it's going to run pretty cool anyway... So the little radiator should be fine, hopefully lol

Yea I had temp issues all last Year and to be honest I have a smaller plastic fuel cell now so thats a weight loss and My radiator was heavy as hell and now I have a light weight water tank instead of the radiator so thats a weight loss, So really i prob lost a lil weight or came out even on that end

Sounds good. curious how much fuel does a setup like that. Induce in a pass, of you drive it to and from the pits, thru the burnout and the run? The ally bbc is going to burn about 1 gal a run, with no real idle time I'm figuring by the consumption #'s I was given, just curious for comparison sake. You'll probably have double the hp, but still something I wondered about, no one ever really says anything about that
