Default Mechanical or Electrical boost gauge?

I was wondering what you guys recommend or use. I will be using a sport comp 2 series since that what I have for a fuel pressure gauge.

- Electric (slower responding) cost money ($$$)

- Mechanical (faster responding) doesnt ($$)
