was planning to you use one on my build, or is there something better out there...

Their is a bunch of threads on this subject, quick search would give you probably 3 threads that i can thick of right now.

Just search "quick spool valve"

Any yes, they are neat, but also very expensive, IMHO.

ok i will look, the ones i seen where 500 bucks, is that to much are they cheaper setups

There was a guy selling the parts to make them for like $250 on one of the forums...will have to try to find him.

I built my own into my exhaust housing of my turbo , only because space constraints , only issue I had is my actuator did not have enough movement to fully open my valve , so I ended up making a lever system to have full open and close ,

ive seen rear mount guys use cheap external wastegates to form a makeshift QSV. something like this:

Search for Zombie. He has several threads out there showing the results form the valve he used. Suffice to say it worked VERY WELL for him.

Pretty cool. Never thought to try something like that. Seems like it might be a tad restrictive though to the second scroll going through the gate unless you had one HUGE wastegate.

Yeah, its def pretty cool, but the abrupt 90* turn is a little harsh I think.

Good read...wish he could have provided some kind of before and after data, but seems like it must be working to get that massive turbo spooled by 3000 rpm!
