Once I get it here, it will be easier to go out and work on it, but for now, I'm hindered by logistics.

I am. I was going to go over to the shop after work but I came home to my wife in bed with a migraine, so I have a 3 and 5 y/o to take care of before I can even consider working on the motor.

well atleast you have your priorites straight. if you blew off the fam to work on the car, something would inevitably pop up and stop all progress. then youd be pissed you got nothing done, theyd be pissed you werent home and youd be wondering why you even like cars in the first place. thats just a bad day haha.

You're always welcome to swing up and hang out. I will look to your expertise in getting the Aquamist setup and running right.

I used that Aquamist on my car back in 1999 or so. Seems like a good setup. Just make sure you don't use any water with impurities in it. The anticipation is what keeps you going man, it's almost a bummer after everything is done. Then you have to find something else to work on

I plan to either use Snow's boost juice or make my own mixes here at work. We have water that has less than 10ppb of TOC and usually is closer to 2-3ppb daily.
Trust me, I've got plenty of plans with the car that I want to do once it's back running. I just want to drive it again. I only put like 300 miles on it once the procharger went on, so I miss it.

It came home...
Then I had the thought that I could install it by myself, but quickly realized that I needed some help, so my brother in law and my neice's boyfriend came over for dinner and helped me get it in between the frame rails.
...and there she sits.
All that's left to do is put everything back on, which I can do by myself. I have a trans jack, so that should go smoothly. I decided to take this week off and get it done, and just my luck, it's going to be 90's plus every day.... oh well. The tough part of putting on the heads is done, which will make the install so much smoother. I'm finally seeing the light at the end of this tunnel.

I tried working on the car today, and made some progress, but my wife went to a bridal shower for my future sister-in-law so I had my son alone all day. Needless to say, the 3rd time was the charm for installing the starter. First time I forgot about the crank position sensor, second time I forgot to connect the wiring.
I did get all of the sensors on the motor, starter hooked up, a/c condensor hooked up as well.

Alchemist, I'm sorry it was at the expense of your motor, but I know I learned some things in this thread that will hopefully help me keep my motor together. Good luck with the completion of your build!

This is where I finished yesterday....
I didn't get too much time to work on it thanks to the heat and the kids, but I took off this week, and once they leave this morning for camp, I'll be out in the garage wrenching.
All that's left to do is:
headers
alternator
power steering pump
complete the coolant vent hookup
clutch
transmission
blower install
intercooler piping
radiator.....
Well, the list goes on. I'm hoping with some uninterupted work today I'll make good progress towards driving it and breaking in the motor this week.
