I didn't but I'm sure there's plenty I have the cam timed at 0° you should be able to run this cam with the ly6 no problem. I thought of doing that motor but I got two lq4's for less than I could of gotten the ly for around here.

I take it your buddy is a pipe welder. I'm a steamfitter and have worked with lots of welders and your buddy is definetly top notch.

I am blown away how nice this build ended up. You did a very nice job with everything, I'm sure you're very pleased with the outcome. I'm glad I could be a very small part of your set-up.

Been driving and tuning. Car is just crazy on the street 9° timing 5psi 11.20afr wot spinning tires at 70mph like nothing! I know its cold but this is just nuts It spins the tires no matter what speed im going soon as it hits boost! hahaha
Oh and for who wants to know its hitting full boost around 3200rpms so idk why people think the s480 is laggy because I don't even have a second from 1k to when it hits boost and rips the tires up! Lol

Maybe they are talking about on smaller motors or something. I can't wait to see how it reacts on my 5.3 motor. I have high hopes though.

I think the way its set up using the twin scroll is why its working so well. I'm sure you will be very happy with the 5.3. Either way your never getting traction on the street lol.

That may be a good thing! Initially I will be using a stock 8.8 rear til I get the money to build it or a 9" rear end, lol.

I will be running the Truetrac eventually, but it is all solid rear end bushings and such.

I am actually going to try out the Fragola push lock braided nylon stuff. It is pretty reasonable and looks to be good quality from everything I have read.
