What you guys think about throwing some relocation brackets on the moser rear? Anyone do this or just use the stock locations? Right now i have Eibach prokit springs and comp shocks. But also have a set of 6cyl rear springs if the Eibach's aren't working for the track.

oh ok.... sounds like it has a pretty good hit in the videos... thinking im gonna go with some crazy huge cam. Been talking with tick about it some... i want as big as i can get in a stock long block ls1 but also want it to work great with the turbo... still pretty new on this stuff and not sure if bigger lift is always bettter esspecially with turbo. But i remember when i put the 612/612 236 duration, 112lsa cam in my last car everyone local at that time hated on it because it was not street friendly... Im never about friendly lol.... Only ridiculous lol..

Was reading earlier in thread you had a time getting idle right on the 80lb injectors..
I was referred to check out the FIC 1000cc's for my build.. Guy at Tick told me they are easier to get idle on low ci cars such as mine... They just cost little more..

Haha Ya tell me about it i dont care about friendly! Hence the 5" Out the Bumper My Neighbors love me i'm sure!!! Ya it took some work to get them to idle nice but thats mostly because i was new to hp tuners now i understand how to do it. But those 1000's are miles above the 80's if you feel like spending the extra cash its worth it. and they provide great info for inj data instead of the friggen greg banish cd lol Whats your set up like?

I would definitely get the reloc. brackets. Your stock LCA location doesn't provide enough anti-squat % to allow the rear end to separate and instead of planting the tire into the ground from the separation it squats which actually picks the tire up off the ground some instead of planting it. The 6cyl. springs will do the same thing and make it squat because they aren't stiff enough.

The FIC injectors are definitely easier to get idling properly at the AFR you've commanded than the Bosch injectors. Much nicer injector IMO and we've seen some nice power gains from the better atomization the FIC injectors provide.

Nice. I'm sure Martin has told you which cam will work best. One thing i've noticed is no matter how lumpy the idle is once its tuned it really calms down a lot with the turbo. I would say a similar cam to mine or a TU1 would work great. Mine was so nasty then i got it dialed in pretty nice and sounds almost stock key word is ALMOST.........LOL

i wanna sound unstreetable lol

With my comp cam 612/612 236 dur 112lsa in my old stock ls it would barely run before tuning... Actaully had to idle it up a few hundred rpm and it still hit like a beast even after tuning... But i realize the Turbo will act as a big muffler to most of that.

Ohhh trust me it will sound unstreetable haha heres my old cam i know how you feel with that.

Its the tuning that makes it run much better yes i miss the crazy idle but 5" exhaust and a giant turbo making 700hp makes you forget about the little idle that could lol
Before Tune

After

I could always put the stock crap tune in for car shows haha and get 2 gallons per mile

Just read through all 19 pages.... Great build... I'm definitely down to see some numbers and times out of this beast.

What bearings did you go with? I think I'm going to do pretty much the same with mine, rod bolts, polish the crank and slap new bearings in it.
