I just said that because when I clicked on the thread to reply it said 999 replies. Guess if you count the initial thread starter I was 1001. Some cridicts on here lol. But I don't mind. Pick on the NC redneck lol.

Doug you have some bad luck lol. If its not engines its the car body lol. Guess hood come unlatched. Mine makes me a little nervous at high speeds. Looks like Flash's car when he was racing that lambo. We have same hood latches. They hold good but hood just flexes in the wind. Wouldn't want this happening to me Doug.

Glad to see you are getting it back together but sad to see the hood issue. You missed a couple spots when you painted that hood...

Trust me I'm sad about the hood issue also. As for the red ill leave it today for the rental and paint it all black tonight and see which I like better but honestly the more and more I look at it the more I dont like the cowl all together. Its a street car and that hood needs to be on a 10.5 car not this

Ran today have the lowering springs in back cut a 1.36 60' but screwed up my 1-2 shift. Either I spun on the launch or almost hit the back bumper. Car has way more torque couldn't leace with more than 10psi and maxed at 20psi. Had a 9.7@95 lol and a 10.3@149.61 now my rear shocks are showing their heads so ill see what I can do the next few days but to keep it down the rear needs adjustment

What was the 330' and the 660' on the 9.7@97 pass?

Car sounds a lot better IMO. Try pulling some timing out of it next time instead of leaving with less boost. Get the compressor and turbine speed up so it's there when you leave. You can ramp timing back in the motor a lot faster than boost.

How much boost did you leave on when you went 9.2?

Right around what they were before little faster 1/8 118.
The 9.2 was 13psi. Now can't launch more than 8-9 but again I have lowering springs still enough to yank the wheels. Will get it better once I have the right controller and rear shocks
As for sound personally I like the tu2 better but its about performance and this cam feels more NA ish where it has better torque down low
