NICE! What kind of input power do you need for that thing? I'm seriously jealous! I'm one email away from sellin my 10 year old TA 185 and buying a used syncrowave 250 or precision tig 225. Just can't afford or justify paying for a dynasty anything for what I do. Sweet machine though and I know you guys will put it to great use!

Wow, so I just spent way too many hours going through this awesome thread. Started reading this site as I'm planning on a mild turbo LS build in a year or two. Can learn a lot by reading some of these excellent threads, your especially. Good luck with the build, I'll be following.

Thanks Bret, We got a lot of work to do this is what we needed will start working on the cage first then all the fab work for the trans am.
Thanks I appreciate that. I try to post all experiences good and bad in here so that way you can see what actually happens instead of just post track times/hp and think that its just simple to make 9-1000hp

Haven't updated in a while. Ordered all new springs titanium retainers new valves btr lifters gaskets just waiting for the heads to come back from cleaning and ill get it back together.
In the meantime did a chromoly subframe for a miata LS1 swap. Its getting my old cam only 423whp motor so it should be a blast to drive. All work was done by Ed@GMPrecision ill be doing a complete build thread over in the conversions section once it starts going in.

What Rear Gear is in this car? I thought I saw 3.08 somewhere on here? How does the car do on the highway or at highway speed? I would love to do a TH400 with a IRS 8.8 or 9" in my LQ4 Lexus SC300 but want to still highway cruise it.

3.08s and depending on your tire size it will be great. I used to own a sc400 so throw some 18s and nice drag radials I think 275/35/18s will fit puts you at 2800rpms or so @70mph. I love the gears great to drive on the street and seem to work ok at the track
