Haha same here. It went 9.97@142 on 14lbs, then we turned it up and broke 2nd gear. So I made one more pass shifting 1st to third and it went 9.20!!!!

Nice car man, I saw you at 2K12. Made me want to go turbo instead of my nitrous build.

Same here, I plan on going with 3.25 gear looking for mid 160's traps on 28" tire pulling to 6800rpm.

Sounds like there's alot of slip going on.

How can you measure slip? And if it is slipping too much does that mean I need a tighter or looser converter?

With the info u gave me I got 11.82 percent of slippage.

http://www.baycityrides.org/slippage.php?mode=calculate

Think of it this way, a well built converter may slip 4-5%, if yours slips 6-7% higher, you are baking the fluid, cooking the band, and compromising the clutches, and giving up mph and ET.

So that may have been the cause of me losing 2nd gear??? I lost 2nd slowly it got worse and worse slipping until finally it just goes straight to the limiter under boost in 2nd.

Also on the dyno when going from low boost to high boost, the dyno read a significant loss in MPH at redline in 3rd. It was like 140mph on low boost and 125mph on high boost.
