Default Carb Hat or Carb Box ? Blow thru set up

I 'm need someone to clearify something :

When running a carb box do you have to have a blow thru carb ?

I know when running a carb hat you have to have a blow thru carb. I'm confused as to why a box is really any different than a hat...Thanks

Go with a carb hat. Yes you still need a blow thru carb with a box. There aren't any passages in the carb that the box covers that the hat doesn't.

boxes are a pain in the ***.

disclaimer...I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure I have seen standard (non blow through) carbs inside of a box before.
