Default Spoolin performance altenator bracket

Does anyone have pictures of one of these installed? I cannot figure it out at all. The plastic cover on the back of the alt hits the top of the head and valve cover ugh!

I just installed one on my car during my turbo build. I was only able to use the upper bracket unfortunately but yes you need to remove or trim the back black plastic cover on the alt to make it fit.

Personally I did not like the look without the cover completely off so I trimmed the protruding squared off piece from the back of the cover off with a dremel. Once I got it all installed it honestly looks stock. I don't have a pic on hand but I can grab one for you if you want.

Yes if it isn't too much trouble I would really like to see a picture of how you trimmed the cover. I eventually figured out that the cover had to be removed but I dont like the back of it exposed

No problem man I will grab one for you from the back side. Here is a shot of what it looks like from the drivers side and front, if you didn't know you would never know I trimmed the back plastic.

I've got the PTK kit (a true one from another fbod forum) so I had to keep my idler puller down low but just remove the alternator. Unfortunately I didn't realize the lower Spoolin Performance bracket wouldn't work for me when I originally bought it so I ended up putting my tensioner in the stock location under the alternator. It all works pretty well now but def took some figuring out LOL.

Yes, upper spoolin bracket, stock idler location, stock tensioner location (had to slightly shave the backside of the tensioner bracket slightly and a 76" belt is what I have on my setup.
