We have several great shops in the Dallas Fort Worth area that are dealers for our product.
Let me know if you need some more questions answered about our ERL Superdeck 1 6 bolt or our 4 bolt stuff.

408ci + GT55 + 6.0 iron + 1/2" studs + LS9 gaskets....is what we're doing soon. 1,200 RWHP is the goal. It will hold. More cubes - less boost - same power. My builder has done it over and over.......

370ci is too small, too much boost needed = lifting heads.

The shop will take hundreds of pics and they'll post them up.

There are a number of people (Ohio Boys/MightyMouse) that have ran stock LS2 blocks/cranks and aftermarket thick deck (TFS/AFR etc) cylinder heads/head studs/LS6 intake/ported stock TB with a turbo/supercharger in the low 8's repeatedly without issues. After prolonged beatings the cylinder walls start to crack. An LS1 block is weaker..... some say the LS3 block is weaker than the LS2.... but only way to see would be to cut one in half I bet..... Also there were signs of main cap walk at the 1000rwhp+ level.... so the remedy is doweling them.

If you are on a budget think about the above setup with some decent forged rods/pistons. Thermal barrier coatings are worth IMO the extra insurance. With a good tune it should be good for 1000rwhp on a basic setup.

That seems to be the barrier when you really hear the whooshing sound.... meaning the dollars flying out of your wallet for reliability

did you say dd or race only? i am building an ls2 based 365" for a dragster. i just completed filling it to the deck with hard blok. i have a dm girdle, arp main studs, arp 11mm head studs, lsa heads(ferrea super alloy and lunati springs, and i am planning on 1000rwhp. o yeah i almost forgot, stock crank. but i am only 1600lbs. you can get away with alot more when you are lighter.
i would stick with the iron 6.0l and half fill it at least. the dm girdle would help on even an iron block, i bet, but you got to buy longer main studs with it. the key is to strengthen the mains so you can clamp the heads down tighter without distorting the bottom end. and a spot on tune! good luck with your build!

This is for a race setup, may see a few street miles. Id hate to put a 6L block in the car, then next year if I want go with a bigger turbo, the block will be toast. I apprieciate the responses, very helpful while trying to think it through. Ive got to make a decision in the next week or so, will keep you updated.

ERL: Sent you a PM.
