OK, well keep us posted, I would prefer to run my truck at the best mile

I have heard the rules are a little relaxed at Texas. Maxton was very rule based like Bonneville, Ohio should be also. The turns at Maxton and the bumps did not bother me when I ran in 2005, the first turn was before you had much speed and the second one was after the chute was out. I did only run 205 and the boosted stuff is running much faster. They also have a newer track in Maine I believe that is 1.3 miles....

Not all lifers run the Mile shootout every year. Infact some lifers dont do the event every year. I dont know if Bob Griffith will run his 2000whp viper this year or not.

I saw Bob's Viper run at Mojave and it looked impressive.... but the MPH was nothing spectacular.

Hinson has one bad *** powerplant... wonder how much of a factor the Z06 roof line will play as it is not as aerodynamic as the coupe.

Man you need to run some TT Gallardos, I would love to see that race! Hows traction at around 60-80mph? How do you think youd do in a ~80 roll against a TT Gallardo 1500hp?

I personally would still want the fixed roof over the targa and the teardrop rear window. I'm sure with some fabrication you could get the best of both worlds tho

5 mph faster w 50 less hp stock on a reg coupe. I'm sure the power they are making it won't make a difference.

Fawk yeah can't wait to see what this thing does. Funny how far these motors have come. Anyone else remember when LSx's hitting a thousand ponies was a damn big deal? Seems we've hit a new standard!

Good luck guys, loved checking the car out the other day...thanks for being so cool and letting me hang around the shop waiting to get my Goat tuned while Lane had the Vette out getting it aligned. Awesome guys to be around (Lane, Buddy, and Ryan). Be safe, and God Speed Hinson Crew! Kick ***!

Car looked really good and take off on the test pass I saw was very interesting and straight.

Hellbents10, what vehicle were you there with? Geezer Express maybe?
